Code of conduct

FWD Conference is an open, professional, and welcoming conference. This code of conduct applies to all attendees, speakers, sponsors, and members of the organising team.

Our commitment

FWD Conference is a space for sharing and learning. We want every person present - regardless of their experience level, company, or background - to be able to participate in a respectful and professional environment.

Expected behaviour

  • Treat all attendees with respect and courtesy
  • Favour constructive exchanges, even when disagreeing
  • Respect others' opinions and experiences
  • Maintain professional conduct at all times - in sessions, common areas, and during informal moments (lunch, after-event drinks)

Unacceptable behaviour

The following behaviours are strictly prohibited:

  • × Harassment in any form - verbal, physical, or visual
  • × Discriminatory remarks related to gender, origin, age, religion, sexual orientation, or disability
  • × Intimidating, aggressive, or disrespectful behaviour
  • × Unsolicited aggressive commercial solicitation

Photography, video, and audio recording

Any recording (photo, video, audio) intended for broadcast or publication requires prior written authorisation from the organising team.

  • Photos and videos for personal use are tolerated, with respect for the people being filmed
  • Any professional recording (press, branded social media, content production) requires a written request before the event to: contact@hymaia.com
  • All sessions are filmed by the organisation. If you do not wish to appear in any recording, contact us before the event at contact@hymaia.com
  • Installing recording equipment (tripod, boom mic, lighting) without official accreditation is prohibited

Reporting

If you witness or experience behaviour that violates this code of conduct, immediately contact a member of the organising team on-site, or write to us at contact@hymaia.com.

Every reported situation will be handled with seriousness and confidentiality.

Consequences

The organising team reserves the right to exclude, without refund, any attendee who fails to comply with this code of conduct.
